At least it’s not raining

Nana and I had been discussing our plans for the weekend and agreed that I would go biking today. That was before we noticed the forecast for rain in the morning.

As it happens, the day dawned bright. Partly cloudy. I rose from bed considering where I would ride and what preparations I needed.

As I was enjoying coffee, Harumi awoke and after a few minutes went out to the balcony. “It’s really windy,” she said as she slid the glass door shut.

I hastily checked the weather forecast. Strong wind warning for our neighborhood. Gusts up to 9m/s.

Fujin, the Wind God, has the last word.
